More than 130 guests and staff gather in Fulton for fellowship, recognition and regional collaboration

Community leaders, elected officials and staff from across the eight-county Purchase region gathered in Fulton on Oct. 1 for the Purchase Area Development District's (PADD) annual picnic, a longstanding tradition celebrating regional partnerships and fellowship.


Held at the Pontotoc Community Center, the event welcomed more than 130 guests and PADD staff members for a day of food and fellowship. PADD Executive Director Jeremy Buchanan opened the gathering by recognizing local officials departing city and county government and welcoming newly elected officials.


The annual picnic rotates among the eight counties served by PADD, providing an opportunity for local leaders and community partners to connect and strengthen relationships across the region.

PADD expressed its appreciation to the City of Fulton and the Pontotoc Community Center for their hospitality and contributions to the event's success.
