BTADD welcomes Josh Rister to a new full-time position created through an ARC Ready 2 Grow grant, expanding services and strengthening development efforts in Fleming, Lewis and Robertson counties

The Buffalo Trace Area Development District (BTADD) recently received an ARC Ready 2 Grow grant, allowing the agency to create a new full-time position focused on strengthening community development efforts across its ARC counties.
BTADD excited to welcome Josh Rister to this new role. Rister transitioned from BTADD’s Aging Department and officially joined the Community Development team Jan. 1.
In this position, Rister will help expand services in Fleming, Lewis and Robertson counties, while also strengthening efforts in areas such as housing, broadband, cybersecurity, technology, food pantry and distribution support, and other emerging community needs. He will also play a key role in identifying, applying for and administering foundation grant opportunities to better support the region.
BTADD is thrilled to have Rister step into this role and looks forward to the impact his work will have across the region.
