Local officials, community gather to celebrate unveiling of newly renovated volunteer fire facility
Lewis County Judge/Executive George Sparks, the Lewis County Fiscal Court and Camp Dix Volunteer Fire Department hosted an unveiling ceremony celebrating the newly renovated and expanded Camp Dix VFD. Rocky Adkins, senior advisor to the governor, served as guest speaker.
The Buffalo Trace Area Development District (BTADD) handled development of the project, grant writing and project administration.
Attendees included Sen. Robin Webb, Rep. Patrick Flannery, Department for Local Government Chief of Staff Billie Renee Johnson, VFD board members, BTADD staff, magistrates, the project architect and contractor, and community members.
