Residents, local officials, businesses and community organizations shared input to help shape the region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy
FIVCO Area Development District has completed a series of Community Engagement Sessions in Boyd, Carter, Elliott, Greenup and Lawrence counties as part of the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy planning process.
The sessions brought together residents, local officials, businesses, community organizations and other stakeholders to discuss the region's strengths, challenges and future opportunities.
By holding meetings in each county, FIVCO gathered local input that will help shape regional economic development priorities and guide future planning efforts through the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.
FIVCO thanked everyone who attended the sessions and contributed ideas, noting that public participation is an important part of ensuring the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy reflects the needs and vision of the communities it serves.
