In January, several Bluegrass Area Development District (BGADD) staff gathered in Lexington for a two-day AI Bootcamp provided by AuthentiLEAD, demonstrating a strong commitment to learning how artificial intelligence can support and strengthen the agency’s mission.
Despite challenging road conditions, Day 1 saw impressive participation and energy as attendees explored foundational AI concepts and practical, mission-driven applications relevant to public service. Building on that momentum, Day 2 focused on collaboration and creativity, with participants splitting into teams to brainstorm, outline, and propose potential AI projects aimed at improving workflows across BGADD. The room was buzzing with innovative ideas, thoughtful discussion, and meaningful idea sharing as teams examined how AI can enhance efficiency, problem solving, and smarter day-to-day processes.
The bootcamp highlighted the power of teamwork and curiosity in shaping responsible and effective AI use.
